Luke has been singing from as far back as he can remember and has played the guitar from the age of 6. Luke started gigging professionally at the age of 14 in Central Queensland. Although a daunting task at a young age, Luke developed a passion for performing and seeing people removed from their every-day concerns via music.

Luke played in two rock bands during his early years, ‘The Voltz’ and ‘NVS’ moving his way around the pub scene. Whilst performing with the band ‘The Voltz’, Luke supported Kisschasy during their tour of Central Queensland in 2006. Following a top 50 appearance in Australian Idol in 2007, Luke was told by judge Marcia Hines to return home and find his roots. It was from here that Luke discovered a passion for stripped back acoustic music. To Luke, an acoustic guitar and a microphone feel like home.
